Twenty Years. One Kind of Student.
Working professionals — executives, diplomats and professional athletes — taught one to one. From complete beginner to N1, from ordering dinner to chairing a meeting in keigo. Not classrooms, not group courses, not a syllabus you have to keep up with.
Your goal. Your schedule. Your Japanese.
Since 15 April 2026, some applicants for the Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services visa (技術・人文知識・国際業務, "Gijinkoku") must prove Japanese at CEFR B2 — JLPT N2 or equivalent. The rule is narrower than most articles suggest.
What Makes This Different

BUILT FOR ONE PERSON
Your first session is a deep-dive needs analysis and level check. From it comes your roadmap — Daily Life, Business, JLPT, or any combination of the three. Pace, difficulty, lesson style and the balance between speaking, reading and writing are set by you, and revised whenever your work or your life changes.

CHOSEN FOR YOU, THEN TAKEN FURTHER
Your course books are selected after that analysis — not assigned in advance. They give the work its structure. And when something in your own week calls for Japanese that no book covers — a presentation next month, a meeting at your child's school, an interview after the match — I write the material for it.

A ROUTE YOU CAN SEE
Vocabulary from every lesson comes back to you as a digital flashcard set, sent after class. For JLPT candidates, a roadmap runs from today to exam day — students who start from a solid N3 foundation typically reach N2 in 3 to 6 months. You always know where you are, and what is left.
For many of my students, Japanese is not a requirement. The office language is English, and their work would go on without it.
They study anyway. The meeting that decides things happens in Japanese, and being briefed afterwards is not the same as being in the room.
Client Feedback
Every student who completed the program and took the N2 has passed.
From Zero, As Well Students who arrived in Japan without a word of Japanese now handle their work and their daily life here.
N3 to N2 in 3–6 Months For students who begin from a solid N3 foundation, on a roadmap built backwards from their own deadline.
Nationally Certified, 20+ Years Teaching working professionals one to one since 2004. Not classrooms, and never any other way.
Executives, Diplomats and Athletes Professionals from Amazon, Google, Citigroup, Accenture, Mercedes-Benz, P&G, Johnson & Johnson and Netflix. Former contracted instructor, U.S. Consulate General Osaka-Kobe.
A Roadmap, Not a Syllabus Built in your first session, and revised whenever your goals or your schedule change.
